What Life Coaching is NOT

So, let’s clear this up before someone asks me to read their aura, shall we…
“Are you like a therapist?” -ummm, no.
“Can you fix my husband?” -No. Definitely not. That’s above my pay grade.
“Do I need to be in crisis?”- No. You need to be in a place where you recognize there is more and you just need some help finding your roadmap.
“Wait... do you make vision boards for people?” -As much as I love arts and crafts… the answer is still no.
So… Let’s start with what Life Coaching IS NOT
1. It’s not therapy
I’m not here to dive into your childhood trauma or unpack why your ex still haunts your dreams. Therapy is beautiful and essential — I’ve walked closely with it in my life and career — but coaching is a different lane. We’re not digging through the past. We’re paving the road ahead. And I’m here to help you discover the beauty and power in that journey.
2. It’s not advice-giving
I’m not a guru perched on a mountain, sipping herbal tea and handing out life instructions- as nice as that sounds. I’m more like a mirror — with a bit of sass and a lot of heart (or maybe a lot of sass)— reflecting your wisdom back to you. Because I know it’s in there. I just help you find it.
3. It’s not magic
I don’t have a wand..that sounds pretty cool though but would sort of defeat the purpose..) Coaching isn’t a fix-all — it’s a process. A sometimes messy, always meaningful process of growing, stretching, and occasionally screaming into a pillow. But hey, that’s transformation.
4. It’s not a one-size-fits-all program
There’s no “Life Coaching Lite” or “Deluxe Coaching Supreme” here. No cookie-cutter templates. It’s real talk, tailored to you. Because your journey is yours — gloriously, imperfectly yours.
5. It’s not for the faint of heart
You’re going to be asked questions that make you pause. Reflect. Possibly sweat a little. But on the other side of that discomfort? Clarity. Freedom. Forward momentum. Also, possibly tears — the good kind. The kind that means something is shifting. It means you're on you way to living your most fulfilled, authentic life. And that's pretty spectacular.
So what is Life Coaching?
It’s a conversation with purpose. It’s the space between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. It’s sacred. It’s playful. It’s so empowering! It’s where your excuses go to die.
If you're looking for a life coach who will nod silently while you vent and then tell you what to do... that’s not me. But if you're ready to get honest, get clear, and get moving —I can't wait to help you discover the wonder that resides within you.
Let’s go. Shoes optional. Honesty required.
“We don’t do perfect here. We do progress, perspective, and a dash of bold.”
